DVR.Webcam - OneDrive Edition App Reviews

This app is very easy to set up. It is ready in a few mouse clicks. Then your videos are recorded in the cloud and easily retrievable either through the microsoft Onedrive website or the Onedrivedvr portal. The motion detection works really well. It’s very convenient to visualize only the relevant videos. The apps works fine with my built in cam as well as my external video server. I recommend it.

Install was easy but couldn’t get it to pull up camera view. Left it running for a while since the app said it was recording but nothing was ever sent to OneDrive account.

This app is just what I needed. Something simple that will record to the cloud. It records video to my onedrive account using the webcam I have. I can check surveillance either when I get home or log into my onedrive account and review the video while I’m at work. Now if only it had night vision….hmm...

The installation and setup was very straightforward. I was able to find my camera from the pull-down menu and get it up and runnign quickly. Recording to OneDrive works; need to figure out how to make the recordings higher resolution. Tends to crash after running for an hour or two on mid-2011 MacMini with Yosemite. Would get a four-star rating if not for the crashing.
